Our Mission:
Is to work with home and church to provide a
Christ-centered spiritual, academic, and physical foundation in a safe,
nurturing environment to produce godly men and women who are a transforming
influence in their world.
Our Motto:
" Equipped to Stand"
"Therefore
put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be
able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand."
Statement of Mission and Purpose
New Life Christian School has been formed for the equipping and discipling of
the children of Christian homes. The primary responsibility for the training of a child is
in the home and the local church. It is the intent of the school to assist in this
important task by providing a Christ-centered, Biblically based, program of academic
excellence. New Life Christian School sees its mission as follows:
The mission of New Life Christian School is to provide a sound academic
education integrated with a Christian view of God and the world based upon the
authoritative and infallible Word of God. This educational program is designed for
children from preschool through grade twelve whose parents are committed to a personal
faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible is specific in stating the principles which
underlie Christian education. The apostle Paul presented a comprehensive principle when he
wrote of Christ, "For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth,
visible, and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things
were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold
together (Colossians 1: 16-17)." The Gospel of John states, "Through Him all
things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made (John 1:3)."
Functioning as an extension of the Christian home, NLCS supports parents who
believe God has led them to put their children in our school based upon Deuteronomy 6:7-8.
Because the Christian approach to learning differs significantly from the secular
viewpoint, NLCS offers a curriculum from a God-centered view of life. This view holds that
God's truth is the standard for all truth. The curriculum taught by a qualified Christian
faculty, allows parents to provide their children with academic instruction consistent
with the Christ-centered teaching at home and at church.
